Veg Fried Rice Recipe - Hotel Style.

Veg Fried Recipe is an  Indo - Chinese Recipe which is quite yummy and scrumptious. I am pretty sure that people who love Chinese food would surely like this fried rice recipe. Here, rice is the main ingredient and it is mixed with crunchy vegetables, seasoned with Chinese sauces to make it more delectable and spicy. In restaurants, jeera rice is apparently more commonly used for fried rice but I have also seen some ladies using basmathi rice for fried rice recipes. I have also shown you the recipe of schezwan fried rice recipe previously which is even more spicier.


How To Prepare Veg Fried Rice

The time taken to prepare this veg fried recipe is around 30 minutes and the quantity mentioned is enough for 3 servings.

Ingredients For Veg Fried Rice.

  • Jeera Rice - 1 cup.
  • Carrot - 1 / 4 cup.
  • Cabbage - 1 / 4 cup.
  • Capsicum - 1 / 4 cup.
  • French Beans - 1 / 4 cup.
  • Spring onion - 1 / 2 bunch.
  • Vinegar - 1 tbsp.
  • Salt - as required.
  • White pepper powder - 1 tbsp.
  • Sugar 1 / 4 tsp.
  • Soya sauce - 1 tbsp.
  • Oil - 2 tbsp.

Method To Make Chinese Fried Rice.

  • Wash and soak jeera rice for 30 minutes.
  • Boil the rice either directly in a vessel or pressure cook it until 2 whistles. Allow it to cool.
  • Meanwhile chop spring onions and all the other vegetables into  julienne.
  • Heat a deep wok with oil in it.

  • Add all the vegetables except spring onions.
  • Saute it under high flame for 2 minutes or until just done.
  • Add salt, soya sauce, sugar, vinegar  and white pepper powder into it and mix it well.
  • Now add spring onions and saute for a minute.
  • Later on add the boiled jeera rice and toss it well with the vegetables under high flame for a minute.

Your sumptuous and amazing fried rice is ready to be served!!!!

KitchenMasti Points.

  1. Be cautious while adding salt since soya sauce also contains salt in it.
  2. You can add 2 slit green chillis for a unique taste.
  3. Always Chinese foods should be cooked under high flame, so, mix rice and vegetables under high flame.
  4. Do not over boil the rice. Instead boil till just done.
  5. You may add black pepper powder instead of white pepper powder.
