Black Grapes Juice Recipe

It is very refreshing to drink a grape juice during the scorching summer heat and satiate our taste buds at the same time too Grapes are found in two colors that is green and black and they are also available with and without seeds. Grapes, also referred as the Queen of fruits are rich in fibre and has a lot of nutrients with low glycemic index value. Only one variety of black grapes is used in the manufacture of wines. They are well dried and these dried grapes are known as raisins which are used in desserts and cakes. As it is a well known fact that grapes are immensely used in viniculture, its growth is promoted in many places. You can prepare the juice with both the types of grapes but the juice prepared out of black grapes is mostly in demand.

How To Prepare Black Grapes Juice.

The time consumed to prepare this juice is around 15 minutes and I have used around 1 cup of black grapes.

Ingredients For Black Grape Juice.


  • Black Grapes - 1 cup.
  • Sugar - 1 / 2 cup.
  • Water - 1 / 2 cup.
  • Ice Cubes - 3 or 4 ( Optional ).

Method To Make Black Grape Juice.


  • Wash the black grapes thoroughly.
  • Take a big vessel filled with 4 cups of water.
  • Add these black grapes into it and allow it boil for around 6 minutes.
  • Keep it aside and allow it to cool for some time.
  • Now transfer these black grapes in to a mixer jar.
  • Add sugar and water and run the mixer for around 1 - 2 minutes.
  • Sieve the juice through a strainer and collect it in another bowl.
  • Discard the waste.

Your refreshing quenching black grape juice is ready to be served.!!!

Kitchen Masti Points.


  1. Always serve the juice chilled. For this, Mix in ice cubes to juice glass while serving.
  2. Seedless black grapes would be ideal for this juice.
  3. Sugar can be increased or decreased as per taste.
  4. You can dilute the juice by adding water in case you feel the juice is thick.
  5. 1 / 2 tsp of lemon juice can also be added for a tangy taste, but then, it is purely optional.
  6. Since this juice is free of additives, it can be stored for a day or two in your refrigerator.
