Rava(Semolina) Kesari Bath is one of the quickest and easiest dish to  prepare. It is a very handy recipe. Kesari bath can be made out of other ingredients like vermicelli, rice etc which I'll display in my future blog posts. . This dish is common  in many Indian functions .However, over there,  they add different colors like yellow or orange to the kesari bath to make it look attractive enough, but using saffron strands are more natural and way more healthier too!

Kitchen Masti Points

  1. One of the most important point while preparing kesari bath is to see to it that the rava gets properly roasted. Or else the rava will turn into a sticky mixture.
  2. You can add pineapple pieces into the rava mixture along with the boiling water.
  3. Instead of saffron strands you can also add saffron color, but saffron strands will give you an unique taste.
  4. You can prepare this and store it for a day. It will not change its taste
  5. In restaurants, A dish named Chow Chow bath is available. It is nothing but a combination of Rava Upma and Rava Kesari Bath
  6. As I have already mentioned earlier, this dish takes somewhere around 20 minutes to prepare, but in case, if you want it to be cooked even more earlier, then boil the sugar along with the water and then pour it in to the rava mixture.
