Eggless Brownie Recipe

Well, I believe this is a wonderful brownie recipe, a fudgy chocolaty flavor covered with a crust like texture on the top. You can enjoy the hardness of the walnuts along with softness of the butter. The procedure is quite simple and easy, provided you should have the right measurements of the ingredients. You can even prepare an instant brownie in a mug which I will be publishing shortly.

How To Prepare Eggless Brownie.

The ingredients mentioned here yields around 1 1 / 2 kg of brownie and needs around 35 minutes for baking the cake.

Ingredients For Eggless Brownie.


  • All purpose flour ( Maida ) - 2 1 / 2 cup.
  • Sugar - 1 1 / 2 cup.
  • Chopped Walnuts - 3 tbsp. 
  • Coffee decoction - 2 tbsp.
  • Dark chocolate scrapings - 1 / 3 cup.
  • Salt - a pinch.
  • Cocoa powder - 1 / 3 cup.
  • Butter - 1 / 2 cup.
  • Baking soda - 1 1 / 2 tsp.
  • Vanilla essence - 1 1 / 2 tsp.
  • Milk - 1 1 / 2 cup.
  • Curds - 1 1 / 2 cup.

Method To Make Eggless Brownie.


  • Pre heat the oven to 190 degree for around 10 minutes.
  • Sieve maida ( all purpose flour), salt, cocoa powder and baking powder twice.
  • Now take a big mixing bowl .
  • Add milk, sugar, melted butter, curds and vanilla essence into it.
  • Beat well with an electric beater.
  • Now fold in the sieved ingredients and coffee decoction. Mix it well.
  • Finally add the melted dark chocolate scrapings. For this you will either have to double boil the chocolate scrapings or you can even melt it in microwave on a high mode.
  • Lastly add the walnuts and mix it well.
  • Now grease a oven proof cake- tin with butter on all sides and sprinkle a little maida.
  • Transfer the cake batter in to the cake tin.
  • Bake it in the oven for around 35 - 40 minutes.
  • Allow the cake to cool before releasing the cake from the tin.
  • Once cooled, un - mould it from the cake tin.

Your yummy chocolate brownie is ready to be served.!!!

  1. Preheating the oven is very important before baking any cake.
  2. You can omit the dark chocolate and alternatively increase the cocoa powder.
  3. Adding a pinch of salt gives you an unusual taste to the brownie.
  4. An alternative to the coffee docoction is mixing 2 tsp of instant coffee powder along with 2 tbsp of water.
