Posted by Veena Karanth at 14:41:00
Godi Halwa is one of the  tastiest halwa, which was famous since our forefathers days itself. It has to be prepared with lots of effort and the method is quite tedious and time consuming. In fact I was exhausted after cooking the halwa but the happiest thing was that the halwa meticulously turned out well and the recipe was a hit. Here, in this recipe we will have to grind the wheat, and strain the same. Later on, we have to mix it with sugar and continue stirring till it reaches the halwa consistency.

Kitchen masti Points.

  1. It would be wise to grind the wheat in a grinder instead of a mixer for a better result.
  2. Using samba wheat is a wise option.
  3. Nutmeg powder can also be added for a unique taste.
  4. Cook the halwa on a medium heat and see to it that it does not get burnt at the base of the pan. So maintaining the heat is an important task.
