Bread Omelette Recipe

Bread Omelette is one of the easiest and simplest dish basically meant for bachelors. It is so easy to prepare that even can a kid can try it out. During the morning hours, when it is usually too busy to cook anything, this is a very handy recipe. Even during lethargic days like sundays , you can prepare this in no time.
Eggs contain the amino acids which is an important source for the development of an human body. It has an high content of cholesterol , so people who have heart attack symptoms better avoid it.
Those people can however, can eat the egg whites .
Eggs are one of the most important ingredient for a balanced diet.  Pregnant ladies should consume the eggs daily so that it will help in their post natal care.
Bread omelette these days has become another famous roadside recipe. Its also an ideal tiffin box recipe.

How To Prepare Bread Omelette

This dish hardly takes around 10 minutes to prepare.

Bread Omelette Ingredients

  • Bread - 2
  • Eggs - 2 
  • Onion - 1
  • Tomato  - 1
  • Chilli - 2
  • Turmeric - 2/3 tsp
  • Salt - A pinch
  • Coriander Leaves - A few strings
  • Oil - 2tsp

Method To Prepare Bread Omelette

  • Firstly, take a bowl , and add chopped onions, tomatoes, salt ,turmeric powder, coriander leaves.
  • Break 2 eggs and add into the bowl
  • Whisk it properly with the spoon or hand blender
  • Heat the tawa or a griddle.
  • Smear oil on the tawa
  • In the mean time , dip the two bread pieces in the egg mixture and keep it aside
  • Pour the egg mixture on the tawa.
  • Place the bread over the boiling omelette and let it stay for around 3 minutes.
  • Flip the omelette and let the other side get roasted.
  • Remove and serve it on a plate with tomato sauce.

Your Bread Omelette is now ready !!!!

Kitchen Masti Points

  1. You can add milk in very small quantities so that you will get a fluffy omelette, 
  2. The more you whisk the egg, the omelette will turn out to be softer.
  3. You can add small quantities of cheese and capsicum pieces for added variation.
  4. Instead of green chillies , you can add little bit chilli powder or pepper powder so that people suffering from acidity will be relieved.
  5. You can also add oregano or basil leaves for a different taste
  6. See to it that the eggs are properly boiled, otherwise it is not a good sign of an healthy dish.
  7. You can also prepare the omelette separately and place it in between the two bread slice ,so that it will turn out to look like bread sandwich which can be served in another manner.
  8. This recipe turns out to be very tasty when adequate amounts of oil is added but there is also downside to it.
